We are currently seeking a full-time Aircraft Maintenance Engineer E-License to join our team at our Vancouver, BC Base. Reporting to the Base Engineer/Senior Maintenance Manager, Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME-E) are responsible for the safe servicing and repair or modification and maintenance of Central Mountain Air’s aircraft and aircraft components.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct planned and unplanned maintenance procedures on our fleet of aircraft in accordance with the Canadian Aviation Regulations and company procedures.
Proven technical aptitude and experience with electrical, navigation and flight controls required.
Maintain, troubleshoot, test, and repair electrical/avionics systems on Central Mountain Air’s fleet.
Perform electrical wire and system installation tasks.
Create task cards and work orders.
Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks.
Keep timely and accurate records of the repair and maintenance activities conducted.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, manuals, instructions, etc.
Assist with the general maintenance and servicing of hangar equipment and facilities
Maintain an organized, clean and safe work environment
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Transport Canada Certified AME-E License
Minimum 5 years experience
Ability to legally work in Canada
Must be able to obtain and retain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC)
Flexibility and willingness to work irregular hours to include evenings, weekends and holidays
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to working with WinAir or other similar maintenance programs.
Able to perform well under pressure, comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights
Safety orientated
Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs
