Central Mountain Air launched its first flight from Campbell River to Vancouver this morning. Non-stop flights to Prince George begin Wednesday.

Central Mountain Air (CMA) launched its first flight from Campbell River to Vancouver this morning after they announced restored connectivity for this route. Flights will be conveniently timed on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday, and will see 8 round-trip flights per week.

CMA’s inaugural flight to Prince George takes place this Wednesday and will see two roundtrip flights per week to/from Prince George.

“We are excited to grow and develop this market. The new Campbell River/Prince George route will open up connections to Terrace, Fort Nelson, and Fort St John this summer,” commented Bob Cummings, CEO Central Mountain Air.

Michael Claeren, Head of Commercial added “there are great fares available and Prince George non-stop flights to Campbell River trips in this initial month of July.”

CMA is excited by the momentum of travel as government restrictions are eased across Canada and COVID-19 cases continue to decline. CMA is proud to facilitate connections to larger routes via Vancouver and provide connections not only in British Columbia and Alberta but across Canada with interline and code share partners.

CMA is the independent regional airline leader in British Columbia and Alberta with 29 aircraft and looks forward to more fully utilizing that fleet.
